Mag Fhloinn – This well is easily found in a field on private land above two houses. There was no gate at the entrance from the road, and it is readily accessible. The well itself is a simple spring trickling from the ground, and forming a small stream which peters out into the surrounding grass, making the area very soft and waterlogged. There does not appear to be any trace of formal structure around the well, and no sign of stones, paths or anything else to suggest its importance. The water from the stream has been harnessed to fill a metal tank with a stopcock below the well site. It is likely used for cattle to drink from. (BMF 23/11/2021)
