Deep Mapping Kerry

Léarscálú Chorca Dhuibhne

This project is a multi-year and multi-disciplinary study that uses the ‘deep mapping’ methodology to discover and present the richness of the cultural heritage of the peninsula, with an attention to the humanities and social and physical sciences.

Through the use of GIS mapping, significant places will tell the story of how the physical and built environments have brought a variety of meanings from the people who inhabited this geographical area over thousands of years.
