Mag Fhloinn – This well is readily accessible at the side of a driveway, immediately opposite a private dwelling house. It consists of an open rectangular cist, some 1m x 0.6m, although this was loosely covered by some partially decomposed wooden pallets at the time of the visit. There are metal pipes emerging from the water and passing under the ground. Below the cist, the water emerges from a stone-lined opening, and forms a stream that flows parallel to the road in a westerly direction. The stream is a constant flow of clear water. No other elements indicate its use as a holy well. (BMF 25/11/21)
